Michael Keeney and wife Helen Kelly. Arrived Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18 July, 1846 aboard the steamer "Charlevoix". Would like to confirm the town or village that they came from. Surname could have been spelled (KEANEY) and could be from Riverstown, County Sligo, Ireland. They had a daughter with them, name unknown.
Patrick Keeney (son of Michael Keeney) was born 1810 in County Sligo, Ireland. Town or village unknown.
Arrived in Canada in 1847.
Married Catherine Thompson on 09 January, 1855 at Our Lady of Visitation Church in South Gloucester, near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Both are buried in the Assumption Church Cemetery in Maniwaki, Quebec, Canada.
Alexander Keeney (son of Patrick Keeney). Born in Osgoode, Ontario, Canada in 1860. Married to Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kehoe, 20 September, 1892 in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. Elizabeth was born in Ottawa in 1869.
